So just put the transponder on the dash of the vehicle you take into IL.ĭaughter #2 goes to college in Ithaca, NY. Can put multiple vehicles on the account. And charges the card when you need to reload. Takes about $40 to "charge" the transponder. 1/2 the price of paying cash through tolls. I had deleted IllinoisTollway from my phone previously, and now trying IllinoisTollway one more time made me realize that deleting IllinoisTollway from my phone was the right thing to do. Just pure garbage of an app, pure garbage of a website. There are 2 tolls on I-64 that my IPass works there. No way to set up iPass if you created an account using Pay by Plate. I know that Ipass from here in Illinois will work for the EZPass in West Virginia. I have been using ipass for several years. They tie to your bank account and replenish automatically I believe in the 50 dollar range. They can sit on your dash or attach to your windshield. They are good for several years until a potential update. It is worth to get one if you drive Illinois toll rodds much.
